Nature Camp 2020–Herpetology

Online Meetings: Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:00 AM and Thursdays 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (EDT) [2 different sections]
6 weeks (July 8/9 – August 12/13)

Hey y’all! Our names are Kate Diller (left) and Sarah Mills (right)! We’re your Herpetology instructors for Nature Camp Online this summer. We have so many ideas that we are so excited to share with you! Read on for a loose plan of our class and more information on registering!

This summer, Herpetology will be focused on adaptations! We will go over the three main types of adaptations and the categories you can conceptualize them in. Then, we’ll turn to the role of humans in past, present, and future adaptations before and the role that humans play in their development. Throughout the six weeks that this course will run, both the campers and instructors will be building herps one adaptation at a time and keeping (loosely) prompt-guided herp journals.

Each week, this page will be updated to include new information. The links below will be unlocked, as well as sent directly to the list of participants at the beginning of every week of Nature Camp Online.
